The moment I started watching the trailer for “The 12 o’clock Boys” I got those horrible The-Wire-Flashbacks. I began watching The Wire like a fiend approx. one year ago around christmas and since then I have fallen in love with its world. I have read David Simon’s “Homicide” and watched “The Corner”, also written by Paul Simon, The Wire’s creator. I can’t let loose. Need more proof? My toilet read at the moment is Felicia “Snoop” Pearson’s autobiography. So, yeah, I am an addict.
The images of the two trailers below are impressing and terrifying. They showcase The Wire’s B’more. And the movie “12 O’CLOCK BOYS” – like The Wire – seems to show the PO-lice’s perspective as well as the perspective of the hoppers which is promising. Although hoppers might not be the right term this time around. Riders maybe?
Anyway, impressive stuff. Must-watch! Looking forward to the film’s release early 2014!

Converging from all parts of the inner city, they invade the streets and clash with police, who are forbidden to chase the bikes for fear of endangering the public. When Pug’s older brother dies suddenly, he looks to the pack for mentorship, spurred by their dangerous lifestyle.
